Abstract
The present study investigated the relationship between marital satisfaction, life satisfaction, disability and social networks in individuals with multiple sclerosis (MS) and the marital satisfaction of their partners. It was found that partners were less satisfied with their relationship than the MS individuals although the scores obtained do not seem to indicate marital instability. No relationship was found between the variables investigated in relation to the MS group. Marital reactions to MS are discussed in relation to length of time since diagnosis and duration of marriage. Keywords
