Abstract
99mTc as pertechnetate, excreted into the stomach after i.v. injection and refluxed as high as the cervical esophagus can present a confusing picture during thyroid scintigraphy if one is not aware of this possibility. The typical appearance of refluxed tracer in a patient is presented, and a simple method for eliminating the confusion is suggested. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
