Abstract
Investigators frequently are confronted with research problems involving two sets of variables. Few examples exist, however, of the use of a statistical technique designed to analyze relationships between two variable sets. This statistical method is canonical correlation. The purpose in writing this paper is to provide a conceptual description of canonical correlation. Keywords
