Abstract
The photocyanation of the aromatic hydrocarbons naphthalene, anthracene, phenanthrene, and biphenyl occurs easily with potassium cyanide dissolved by means of the cyclic polyether 18-crown-6 in anhydrous acetonitrile.Keywords
