Abstract
To the Editor: We wish to report observations similar to those reported by Zusman et al. (N Engl J Med 289:1335, 1973).A 74-year-old man was admitted in September, 1973, with a rapidly enlarging preauricular mass measuring 10 X 5 cm, generalized weakness and urinary frequency. Physical examination in addition revealed left-iliac-fossa nodes and solid bilateral testicular tumors measuring 12 X 5 cm. The prostate was firm and diffusely enlarged. Biopsy of the neck mass and of the prostate were both consistent with a poorly differentiated lymphocytic lymphoma, diffuse type. Laboratory data included a hematocrit of 33 per cent, hemoglobin . . .Keywords
