Ion-induced L3-subshell alignment of argon

Abstract
The angular distribution of the argon L3-M2,32(1S0) Auger electrons has been measured for proton impact in the energy range 0.8-3.0 MeV, and for H2+ and He+ ion impact at 0.8 MeV amu-1. The small L3-subshell alignment parameter values deduced are in accordance with PWBA calculations including electron capture.Keywords
