Abstract
Two new host molecules, 2 and 3, are described, representing a noval desing strategy where H-bond interactions of a known inclusion compound are replaced by covalent links; the X-ray structure of the 2 : 1 (host : guest) inclusion compound of 2 with dioxane is reported. Keywords
