Abstract
Described in the following paper is a system for amplitude regulating the output of a single mode He–Ne laser in a band from dc to 200 cps. Over periods of ½ h the output was stabilized to about ±0.15% and to ±0.01% for periods of 40 sec. Since the regulator employs negative feedback, we also briefly discuss techniques for producing a stable system. Keywords
