Abstract
Measurements are reported of the derivatives , , and on the lambda curve, of on the melting curve, and of the pressure coefficient of the liquid very close to the upper lambda point (). The measurements are well represented by the equations where is in atm, is in °K, and is in mg/. The temperature and pressure of the upper lambda point are There is no evidence of a first-order transition in the solid in the temperature range .
