Abstract
A case of oral florid papillomatosis greatly improved over a two-year period from periodic low doses of aminopterin, a folic acid antagonist. No systemic side-effects were observed, and the papillomatous growth, refractory to previous prolonged topical therapy, showed approximately 80% involution during the course of therapy. It is postulated that aminopterin was beneficial by inhibiting epithelial proliferation. Keywords
