Abstract
The paper demonstrates the possibility of utilising resonant convertor technology in the high-frequency link inverter configuration. In this system, an amplitude modulated high-frequency sinusoidal waveform is generated by a novel type of series resonant inverter allowing electric isolation through a high-frequency transformer. A complete description of the system is presented along with its control technique for interfacing a solar photovoltaic array with the utility line. Experimental results are included. Keywords
