Abstract
A rapid, accurate method for urinary creatinine estimation employing the Technicon Auto Analyzer is described. The method is independent of temperature change and also of variations in pH in normal urines. The mean deviation of the method is [plus or minus] 1-19, the stan-dard deviation[plus or minus] 1.09, and the percentage recovery 97% of creatinine added. The normal values of creatinine excretion for adult males are 1.15 to 2.86 g./24 hr. and for normal adult females 0.82 to 1.76 g./24 hr.Keywords
