Month of Birth and Cancer Mortality2

Abstract
There is a well-known correlation between the occurrence of cancer in laboratory animals and infection at an early age with certain viruses. This correlation, combined with the seasonal distribution of most human viruses, led to a search for differences in cancer incidence or mortality rates among persons born in different months. No such differences could be established for either sex, for any age group, or for any of the sites or site groups studied.
