Abstract
For several years light-trap collections of adults of five Lepidoptera species near Waco, Texas, have given considerable information on seasonal abundance of pink bollworm (Pectinophora gossypiella (Saunders)), boll worm (Heliosthis zea (Baddie)), tobacco budworm (Heliothis virescens (F.)), cotton leafworm (Alabama argillacea (HÜbner)), and cabbage looper (Trichoplusia ni (HÜbner)). With the exception of the pink bollworm, the information obtained with light traps in combination with the knowledge of experienced workers familar with the pests and with factors influencing their population buildup in cotton fields may be useful in giving cotton growersThis publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
