Abstract
Summary: The development of complement fixing measles antibodies has been studied in 71 persons who had measles during a widespread epidemic in Greenland. The age of the patients was from 7 to 65 years. Sera from measles immune persons living in close contact with a measles patient were also examined in complement-fixation tests. No variation in titers was observed in sera from these measles immune persons collected on the first day of the patient's rash and 10 to 16 days later.
