Abstract
Field strength patterns have been recorded in Sweden (deep woods, hilly terrain), Norway (long narrow valleys), and Denmark (farmland, urban districts). Digital processing of recordings has taken place. Examples of amplitude distributions are presented for various types of terrain. Results show good agreement with the Rayleigh distribution in spite of the great difference in type of terrain. Keywords
