Abstract
Equation (14) of the paper by Aguilera-Navarro and Guardiola on the nonsingular spiked harmonic oscillator [J. Math. Phys. 32, 2135 (1991)] appears not to be applicable when α=2. By carrying out simple transformations on this equation it is shown that it can be evaluated in closed form in the limiting case α→2.Keywords
