Abstract
This report describes the design and fabrication of a 20-kW sodium reflux heat-pipe solar receiver/reactor for CO/sub 2/ reforming of methane. This project is part of a bilateral agreement between the United States and Israel. Under the terms of the agreement the solar receiver/reactor has been designed and built by Sandia National Laboratories for testing in the 7-meter solar furnace facility at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel. 16 refs., 11 figs., 2 tabs. Keywords
