Refractive Error Stability of Contact Lens Wearers

Abstract
Long-term contact lens wearers [25], fitted to minimize changes in their refractive error, showed an inverse relationship between corneal curvature change and change in refractive components other than the cornea. When the human cornea flattens, the other components change inversely so that the refractive error usually remains unchanged.
