Abstract
Few cases of corneal ulceration due to fungi have been reported. This fact together with a need for a reminder of the appearance and characteristics of such lesions and a possible common denominator in etiology bring about the presentation of three cases of corneal ulcer due toCandida albicans. Report of Cases Case 1. —A 35-year-old farmer presented himself as an outpatient, stating he had had a red scratchy left eye with some photophobia about one day a week for the past six weeks. He recalled getting a husk of soy bean pod in his left eye at the outset of his trouble, but no foreign body had been found.
