Abstract
The heartwood of J. procera contains a new sesquiterpene hydroxy acid, a diterpene phenol, the tropolone procerin, 3 other tropolones, carvacrol, [alpha]-cedrene, cuparene, cedrol, [beta]-sitosterol and a C30-compound previously isolated from J. thurifera. The heartwood of J. californica contains hinokiic acid, "Widdringtonia acid II," [alpha]-cedrene, thujopsene, cuparene, cedrol and widdrol. Gas chromatography indicated the presence of several unidentified sesquiterpenes in both species. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
