Quantum Limitations on Measurement of Magnetic Flux

Abstract
If the magnetic flux trapped in a superconducting quantum-interference device has observable values , which alternate in time, and if the value at a given moment is unknown, it is in general impossible to determine that value without affecting the results of subsequent observations.
