Abstract
In this case study, involving a widespread conversion of the Higi people to Christ, the very concentration on cultural factors silently highlights the underlying theological dimension of God's Spirit at work — both apart from and through conscious advocates, both insiders and outsiders. By his anthropologically-informed approach, Professor Kraft was able to work with these forces already at work, rather than against them. Keywords
