Abstract
A digital time intervalometer was developed for measuring time intervals of 1 msec or less with a time resolution of ∼200 psec. The start signal can be delayed from 50 nsec to the full range of ∼1 msec. The range of the instrument is independent of the selected delay and can be set to cover intervals from 100 nsec to ∼1 msec. The instrument is unique in that analog time expansion is used to measure very accurately the time phase between a 20 MHz oscillator and the start and stop signals. Keywords
