Abstract
Phospholipids in the form of a fine powder were extracted with acetone from a commercial phospholipid prepn. The powder was centrifuged, dried and dissolved in ether. A small amt. of insoluble substance was removed by cen-trifugation and the ether soln. was poured into excess of acetone. The insoluble fraction was a stable, bright yellow, powdery solid. Analytical data for this cottonseed phospholipid are discussed. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
