CONSTRAINTS FOR THE DIQUARK COUPLINGS FROM QUARK→ QUARK+PHOTON TRANSITIONS

Abstract
The significance of the diquark couplings f6QQh and f7ucdchc is studied in a SU(3)× SU(2)×U(1) 1)×U(1)′ gauge model derived from the E6 superstring theory at low energies. For this purpose, the electric dipole moment of the neutron and the branching ratio of the radiative bottom meson decay, B→K*γ, arising from these couplings are claculated. A comparison with the experimental upper limits gives typically the bound Im f6f7≲10−4 for the coupling constants.
