Abstract
A reliable, high-intensity supersonic nozzle beam is described, the beam energy of which can be varied between 66 and 350 meV. The velocity resolution is 5-8%. Very high stagnation pressures can be used, as the entire beam enclosure including the nozzle opening is water cooled. Keywords
