Abstract
This paper explores the application of Time Series Analysis to produce short term forecasts using automatic traffic counts. Following a brief introduction to Time Series Analysis, model development and fitting is discussed in some detail. The performance of the forecasting models produced for ten sets of traffic data, collected by West Sussex Council, is investigated. Keywords
