Abstract
Quenched chiral perturbation theory is extended to include heavy-light mesons. Nonanalytic corrections to the decay constants, Isgur-Wise function, and masses and mixing of heavy mesons are then computed. The results are used to estimate the error due to quenching in lattice computations of these quantities. For reasonable choices of parameters, it is found that quenching has a strong effect on /, reducing it by as much as 28%. The errors are essentially negligible for the Isgur-Wise function and the mixing parameter.
