Abstract
A census of singing Nightingales in 1980 accounted for 4,770 birds. This represented an overall increase of nearly 48% on the numbers found in a 1976 national census, but this increase was not uniform over the species' range. There appears to have been some slight contraction in range since the Atlas period (1968-72).This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
