Abstract
A series of 117 cases of cerebral thrombosis were followed for 8 years. Morbidity and mortality are analyzed with indication that recovery is maintained over a protracted period. The mortality rate was similar to normal rates for this age group. Recurrences were relatively low. Twenty-four of 117 are functioning adequately at the end of 8 years, indicating more attention to management is necessary. Keywords
