Abstract
This article outlines the survey approach as it is used in building the Washington Input-Output Models (WAIO), and compares its multiplier estimates for Washington state with those of the Regional Input-Output Modeling System (RIMS) as developed by the U.S. Department of Commerce. The author finds that RIMS multipliers differ—often substantially—from those of WAIO.Keywords
