Abstract
We point out that uniform ferromagnets with cubic anisotropy show irreversible behavior in an applied magnetic field provided h≤(T)∼‖T- . In mean-field theory the exponent θ=2/3 is the same as that of the de Almeida–Thouless line for Ising spin glasses.
