Abstract
Subcutaneous injections of 2-desoxy-glucose into rabbits during insulin convulsions did not restore the animal, though the copper-reducing power of the blood increased. The amounts of sugar injected were similar to those used when glucal was employed. The path of glucal metabolism is therefore not through desoxy-glucose; the latter sugar is not toxic, since the animals could be recovered with glucose. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
