Abstract
Simplified and general expressions are presented which allow an easy calculation of earth-effects on polyphase line parameters. The analysis permits the use of Laplace operational calculus and allows also the application of matrix methods to the study of wave propagation. The results obtained are in good agreement with those calculated, in terms of frequency, by more complicated theories. Keywords
