Abstract
Describes apparatus designed for measurement of volume changes of amorphous metallic materials. The apparatus is suitable for thermal dilatation measurements up to 1300K under isothermal and linear heating regimes, heating rates ranging from 5*10-3K s-1 to 5K s-1, as well as for magnetostriction measurements. Samples are studied in an inert gas atmosphere. The resolution of the apparatus is 2*10-7 m and 2*10-8 m for linear heating and isothermal regimes respectively. Keywords
