Radiowave signal detection system using electrooptic modulator

Abstract

A radiowave detection system for TV relay stations has been developed using an optical waveguide modulator with a passive resonant circuit. Carrier to noise ratio of above 50 dB is obtained at an electric field of 60 dBuV/m.
