Prochlorperazine for the Treatment of Nausea and Vomiting of Early Pregnancy

Abstract
NAUSEA and vomiting of early pregnancy is a psychophysical phenomena that occurs in 50 to 80 per cent of all pregnancies.1 , 2 Its control is essential in the 1 in 150 pregnancies in which it will progress to hyperemesis gravidarum; also, control of these symptoms gives the obstetrician a golden opportunity to establish good rapport with his patient at a very early stage.
