Abstract
1.1 Medical expenses insurance, as we know it today, has been available in the United Kingdom since the late 1940s. In recent years the market has increased significantly to a point where we estimate approximately 6m people are now covered by medical expenses insurance, which represents over 10% of the population. Furthermore, there is evidence that the market is continuing to expand. Keywords
