A New Genus in the Aspergillaceae

Abstract

A fungus with a pycnidial imperfect stage is described as a new genus, RYCNIDIOPHORA, type P. dispersa in the Aspergillaceae. This fungus was found to cause damping-off of seedlings of Aster, Phlox, and Regal Lily.
