Abstract
Five patients on CAPD [continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis] with fungal peritonitis were treated without removing the catheter. In 1 case, amphotericin B caused a severe chemical peritonitis. The other 4 patients received amphotericin B i.v. and micronazole of flucytosine i.p. Recovery was obtained in 3 cases without removing the catheter and in 1 case the patient died. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
