Abstract
Detailed annealing studies have been done on quenched zone-refined aluminum. The research was undertaken to determine the migration energy of the divacancy and the binding energy of the divacancy in pure aluminum. It was found that eV and eV. Some discussion of the properties of larger vacancy clusters is given.
