Abstract
A new hierarchical porous zeolite–diatomite composite (see Figure inset) of excellent mechanical and chemical stability, after immobilization of Co2+ by an ion‐exchange process, was utilized as a packing sorbent for the separation of peptides and proteins containing histidine clusters. The Figure shows the chromatographic profile for two peptides separated using immobilized metal‐ion affinity chromatography.Keywords
