Quantitative Spectrodensitometry of Morphine and Amphetamine on Thin Layer Chromatograms

Abstract
Quantitation of morphine by fluorescence, fluorescence quenching, and color development utilized in situ spectrodensitometry after separation by thin layer chromatography. Fluorescence was used for in situ quantitation of amphetamine separated by thin layer chromatography after reaction with fluorescamine (Fluram, Roche). These methods are simple, sensitive, and reproducible.
