Abstract
Typhlodromus persianus, n. sp., collected from citrus foliage in Iran, is described and figured. Both spider mites and pollen were satisfactory foods for development and reproduction. Relative humidities above 50% were required for hatching of a high percentage of eggs. A redescription and new collection data are given for T. kettanehi Dosse.
