Foliar and Soil Applications of Iron Compounds to Control Iron Chlorosis of Grain Sorghum1

Abstract
Synopsis: Soil applications of iron compounds to correct iron deficiency chlorosis of grain sorghum in southwestern Kansas were somewhat effective but economically impractical. Spraying chlorotic grain sorghum with 3 sprays of 4% ferrous sulfate was an effective method of improving the yield of grain. Thirty gallons per acre of the spray solution were required.
