Abstract
A family with benign X-linked muscular dystrophy (Becker type) was studied. Of 8 affected males, 7 were alive. The clinical and pathological features are presented. The clinical symptoms started in the 2nd decade for most of the patients. The rate of progression was very slow and 3 patients became confined to a wheelchair in the 2nd half of the 6th decade. Keywords
