Abstract
Thirty previously unclassified emission lines all broadened by autoionization, have been observed in the Hg I spectrum. Half of these have been assigned to transitions involving 5d96s27s 3D2, 3D3 and 5d106p2 3P2' as upper levels. Approximate Fano parameters are given for eight of the lines. It is suggested that the position of the 5d96s26p 3D30 level be revised, and a tentative identification is made of 5d96s26p 1F30.Keywords
