Abstract
A case of lithium intoxication, manifest by cardiovascular and neurological disturbance, is presented. The importance of this case lies in the induction of oliguric renal failure and the consideration of whether or not lithium has a prime nephrotoxic effect, or whether the renal failure was secondary to the ischaemia produced by the profound cardiovascular disturbance. Keywords
