Abstract
It has been observed that the lattice dielectric constant of single‐crystal gallium arsenide exhibits a broad resonance centered at about 9.5 GHz. The magnitude of the changes of dielectric constant associated with this resonance is comparatively large, but the magnitude of the losses associated with it is quite low. No satisfactory explanations for this resonance behavior has been suggested to date. Keywords
